Love Your Zoo Week - May Half Term
This event takes place every year, where we celebrate what makes zoos so special for visitors, wildlife, and conservation. For example, did you know that in 2022, BIAZA zoos and aquariums spent over £28 million on conservation projects?
Why not support us for Love Your Zoo week, so we can continue to help reverse nature depletion.
Join us over May half term to celebrate 'Love Your Zoo Week' and the fantastic work of BIAZA zoos up and down the country!
During this week, there will be a variety of extra talks around the Zoo, to showcase our efforts at BPCZ to contribute to both regional and global conservation efforts.
You may also fancy taking part in some of our games and activities, inside the 'Zoo Academy Cabin', specifically designed to put your skills to the test, to see whether you have the expertise and dedication it takes to work in a Zoo!
We have chosen to dedicate each day of this week to a particular group of animals...
Monday 29th- Monkey Day
Tuesday 30th- Endangered Species Day
Wednesday 31st- World Otter Day
Thursday 1st- Rare Breeds Day
Friday 2nd- Native Species Day
Saturday 3rd- Native Species Day
Sunday 4th- Rare Breeds Day
